Acomplia (rimonabant) is a drug used for the treatment of obesity and other conditions of the kind; it received the approval in the European Union in 2006, while in the US this drug is known under the name of Zimulti. Acomplia belongs to the class of Cannabinoid-1 Receptor Blockers, or CB1 and acts by suppressing hunger and helping patients to lose weight faster. Like all drugs Acomplia has been reported to have a number of side effects – both positive and negative.
